Diabetic Smoothies

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 small orange, peeled
  • 1/2 cup sweet potato, cooked and peeled
  • 6 ounce Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup untweeted almond milk


  • Add all the ingredients except vegetables/fruits first
  • Blend until smooth
  • Add the vegetable/fruits
  • Blend until smooth
  • Add a few ice cubes and serve the smoothie
  • Enjoy!


Feel free to swap any of the topping in the ingredient list with whatever you have lying around. It will probably taste just as amazing!
